About Me

Like a friend of mine, I am going to break with tradition, and do the introductions in the first person.

I was born in Sligo, a town in the west of Ireland, in 1972. I moved to Dublin in 1990, first to study engineering in UCD, and later to work in the IT sector. Most of the work I have done revolved around software globalization and the development of software to help with that, first in Berlitz Translation Services, and later at SUN Microsystems.

Currently, I work in SUN, writing tools in the patch system test group.
